Welcome to Bayfield School Cross Country is still on today. Wednesday 9th May. (Updated 7.30am) The year promises to be another successful year with several biannual events scheduled to take place, including the Art Exhibition and the school’s major fundraiser for the year, Hammertime. 'Building a Better Bayfield' Friday 25th May Click on the logo for more information. We have updated our charter this year, which is now available on the website. Education for Sustainability is one of our goals and we are committed to both Wastewise and Travelwise. This means as well as having a goal to reduce the amount of rubbish, landfill and recycling we create; we also aim to use less paper, so our main form of communication to parents is via email and our website. ![]() We would like to acknowledge the Dragon Community Trust who at the end of 2011, granted us a substantial amount of money to spend on Information & Communication Technology equipment. This very generous grant has allowed us to purchase a set of iPads. These will be fully utlilised once Ultra Fast Broadband is delivered to our gate during 2012. As our vision is “Preparing Our Students for Their Future” we promote e-learning and value the importance of digital equipment, its use in across-curricular programmes and its ability to engage our 21st Century students.
Bayfield School’s mission is To Prepare Our Children For Their Future. We do this by promoting learning and achievement, embracing individuality, encouraging respect and building a sense of belonging to our special place. These key elements of our vision, along with a set of supporting values, work alongside our Powerful Learning Model. We believe that learning is a life long process involving staff, students and families, and by building a strong partnership between school and home we will achieve great outcomes for students. Visitors are welcome at Bayfield anytime. Contact
