Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC)
At Bayfield, extra-curricular activities occur throughout the year to give children opportunities for new experiences and extend their classroom learning.
They include one off trips to destinations such as:
EOTC Week for Years 5 and 6 in week 9 of term 4
This week includes a range of outside activities including a night at camp for the Year 5's and 3 nights for the Year 6's.
We will often request parents assistance on trips to help maintain safe ratios of adults to pupils.
Swimming
As part of our curriculum we are required to have swimming lessons.
These are held at the Tepid Baths in the city and lessons are 30 minutes. Children travel by bus to & fro the lessons.
Years 5 & 6 have 10 lessons in weeks 5 & 6 of Term 1
Years 3 & 4 have 10 lessons in weeks 6 & 7 of Term 4
Years 0-2 have 8 lessons in weeks 8 & 9 of Term 4
